Trauma, Flash Forward, Lie To Me, Burn Notice & Psych News
Reported by Outsiders - 12:21 PM 2009.11.25

So little time... So much TV News...

Deadline.com is reporting that NBC reverse their decision to cancel the fledgling medical drama, Trauma after canceling it for reportedly being very expensive to produce and received several negative critical reviews (from both critics and Emergency Medical personnel as well), that it was reported that NBC had quickly canned the show after only a few episodes (it was rumored that the show was cancelled in order to make room for NBC's midseason premiere of Chuck, which has aired on Monday nights for its past two seasons).

That doesn't seem to be the case, though. Apparently, NBC has done no such thing, and plans to keep the show for not only its originally ordered thirteen-episode run, but for several additional episodes (whether it's for the full back-nine remains to be seen).

ABC has shut down production of their fast-falling drama, FlashForward. The shut down comes just a month after original co-showrunner Marc Guggeneheim departed and David Goyer stepped up as the sole showrunner. The move also comes after last week's ratings low for the series, bringing in only 8.1 million viewers.

However, if you're a fan of the show and concerned, ABC says don't be. According to a rep for the network, small hiatuses like this were built in to the schedule for the show. “They started production early so that they could have the luxury to do this,” says the rep. “They want to maintain the high quality of the show, and this gives the writers the opportunity to do so.”

Fox has picked up Lie to Me for a full season!

Although there’s no official confirmation from the network, exec producer Shawn Ryan just announced the news via twitter. “Picked up for a back 9,” he wrote. “Thanks for all the support everyone.”

USA Network has renewed Burn Notice for a fourth season.

The smash hit is slated to return with the second half of its third season in January. The 16-episode fourth season would likely debut next summer.

The news comes a day after USA picked up Psych for a fifth season.
