Paramount Greenlits 'Paranormal Activity 5' & Developing Latino Spin-Off Movie

 With the fourth movie of the franchise opening in theaters this weekend. Paramount Pictures has already planned the fifth installment for Halloween 2013 that will advance the story and be produced by Paranormal Activity Jason Blum and Oren Pell.The studio is also looking to expand on the franchise and are plotting an as-yet-untitled spinoff tentatively set for Spring 2013 and aimed at PA‘s very sizeable Latino audience. The studio has gotten screenwriter and director Christopher Landon to helm the project with the spinoff including the demon from the PA franchise and star mostly Latino actors and film partly in Spanish. The studio placed a teaser clip at the end of Paranormal Activity 4 for the spinoff which will begin shooting shortly. Source: Deadline MORE NEWS
