Reported by Jay Cochran - 04:20 PM 2012.08.08
Variety is reporting that Warner Bros. is considering actor/director Ben Affleck to direct it's upcoming flagship super hero movie The Justice League. According to Variety, since Christopher Nolan has taken himself out of contention to helm the movie, Affleck is being seriously considered because of the commercial success he broughtto the movie "The Town". Justice League would see all of DC Comics greatest super heroes including Batman, Superman, Green Lantern, Flash and Wonder Woman brought under one proverbial roof and would be Warner Bros./DC Comics answer to Disney/Marvel's Avengers movie which was a huge box office success. Affleck's name has also been mentioned as a strong candidate to direct a big-screen adaptation for Stephen King's "The Stand. MORE movies NEWS |
