Warner Bros. Moves 'Gravity 3D' To 2013 & 'Gangster Squad' To September

Reported by Outsiders - 2012.05.16

Warner Bros. has decided that they have a lot going on and have decided to move some movies to new release dates. The first movie on the list is the Sandra Bullock space pic Gravity 3D had been scheduled for November 21, but now it will premiere sometime in 2013. Scheduled for the end of the year for Warner Bros is Argo, Gangster Squad, The Hobbit and The Great Gatsby. Sources believe that Warner Bros. want to give the drama less pressure and try to push it into more IMAX 3D screens. George Clooney does co-star but the studio is looking at the big role for Bullock and this could lead to another Oscar campaign for her.

The second movie on the move list is Ruben Fleischer’s LA period drama Gangster Squad starring Sean Penn, Ryan Gosling and Josh Brolin. The movie has already been moved twice twice and now it has landed on September 7th, which is even earlier than previous releases.
