A new featurette is now online for Tim Burton's film adaptation of the late 60's television series "Dark Shadows" starring Johnny Depp as Barnabas Collins, a 200 year-old vampire who spent the last two centuries locked in a box and finds himself in a world set in 1972. This featurette focuses on the History of Vampires on film including fellow Burton collaborator Christopher Lee who has played the prince of darkness on several occasions during his career. It seems Lee makes an appearance in the film as a man who's not easily influenced by Depp's vampire powers. Also it turns out that Jonathan Frid, the actor who played Barnabas in the original series, will be seen in a cameo. Sadly this will be his last appearance, since the 87-year old actor died a couple of weeks ago. The film is expected to hit theaters on May 11th.
