Tony Todd Says He Will Return in Transformers 3
Reported by Jay Cochran - 10:23 AM 2010.02.08
Tony Todd has revealed in a recent interview that he will return in Transformers 3 and explosions will also return.
He does not specify what role he will play in the film, but when asked if he will definitely return in Transformers 3, the Den of Geek quotes him as saying, "You want to quote me? What I was told last month, yes. But that's Hollywood!" When solicited on a little preview of the film, Mr. Todd said, "there's more of it!" and thumping on the desk with his hand while making explosion sounds, continuing, "Something along those lines!" This is a little bit of a deviation from what Director Michael Bay said about the third addition to the franchise, which he said would rely less on the number of robots and explosions, but focus more on the robot character. However, given the jump of explosions from Transformers to Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, less explosions could simply mean we return to the level of Transformers. The following is the segment of the interview involving Transformers 3: Den of Geek: Are you involved in Transformers 3 do you think? Tony Todd: Yes. Definitely? You want to quote me? What I was told last month, yes. But that's Hollywood! Is there anything you can tell us about it? It's got to be worth a try. No! There's more of it! [Laughs, starts thumping desk and making explosion sound effects]. Something along those lines! For the full interview, which discusses more of Mr. Todd's past and future work, head over to Den of Geek. MORE movies NEWS |
