Earthworks Entertainment Aims at Animation TV Series
Reported by Jay Cochran - 09:54 AM 2008.11.24
Earthworks Entertainment, Inc. (Pink Sheets:EWKE), today announced its plans to launch Z-Force Zodiac Force - an exciting new action-adventure animated TV series aimed at both the adult and children’s market. The series stars the 12 heroic characters of the Oriental Zodiac.
According to CEO Steven Humphries, “Z-Force is a compelling cartoon animation series that blends drama, life lessons and humor with a highly imaginative, fresh new world of exciting adventure, featuring 12 action characters of the Oriental Zodiac. Four segments have already been produced at a cost of $2.0 million. Completion of the other 9 segments is scheduled for June 2009 with a launch on network TV soon after.” The company also plans to launch Z-Force in a combination of traditional and non-traditional venues including infomercial, long and short form, Internet marketing and advertising and a web site dedicated exclusively to Z-Force. Humphries added, “In addition to the broadcast rights, the Merchandise Licensing potential for this property is quite extraordinary, ranging from toys to apparel to video games to publishing and trading cards. We expect to generate over $3.0 million in revenue during the first 12 months after the broadcast launch of Z-Force.
